plot of a hot new novel by a young new author. While this salacious saga
may sound like it’s been ripped-from-the-headlines, Eddrick Dejuan’s
Madam Eve has more than a few intriguing twists and turns. “My heroine,
Evelyn doesn’t take this betrayal lying down…she gets revenge not for
herself but for all her friends with adulterous husbands. Along the way
she finds true love and herself,” notes the 25-year-old Air Force veteran
and now self-published author.

com and will hit major bookstore chains, such as Borders and Barnes &
Noble, July 1, 2008. In promotion of the release, Dejuan and his
Atonement Publishing LLC will debut an animated book trailer on
YouTube.com.
Following in the tradition of best-selling writers Michael Baisden and
Omar Tyree, Dejuan aims to take urban romance to the next level. For
starters, he’s a male author in a female-dominated genre. “I wanted to
write romance with strong female characters and add in the male
perspective,” says Dejuan. He is also building his publishing company,
Atonement Publishing, into a brand. All the books released by the imprint
will feature the theme of revenge and forgiveness. “Every book I write will
have the main character go on a journey from wanting to getting even to
forgiving,” notes Dejuan. In addition to publishing his own books, he is
seeking to sign other urban romance authors. Also in the plans, turning
Atonement Publishing books into films.
Originally from Flint, Michigan, Dejuan says writing has always been a
passion—even through his years in the U.S. Air Force. “I’m always
writing,” says Dejuan, who is inspired by contemporary social issues and
news. In fact, his next book, My Mother, My Gift, centers around the hot
button issue of health care as a woman takes on a battle against an
insurance company to save her mother’s life. My Mother, My Gift is full of
political intrigue, revenge, romance, adventure and suspense follow.
